Charles L. McGimsey, CPA/CFF, CFE – Chief Financial Officer​
Having worked in public accounting for over 40 years, Charlie has extensive accounting experience in income taxation; and speciality areas including governance under Sarbanes Oxley, business planning, business valuations, and forensic investigations. Additionally, Charlie's professional experience includes expert testimony in lawsuits, financial projections, and return on investment for securities offerings.

Charlie graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration in Accounting. He is a member of the Georgia Society's Fraud & Forensics Advisory Council and Ethics Committee, and recently served a a member of the AICPA's Forensic and Valuation Services Executive Committee.
Michael Calhoun – Chief Technical Officer
Michael has 35+ years’ experience in research, development and commercialization of Class I, II & III biomedical devices, diagnostics and pharmaceuticals.
His background includes directing R&D programs at Fortune 500 medical device companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Boston Scientific and Tyco International. During his time at Johnson and Johnson, he was the Business Unit Manager for the coronary stent group and developed the Cross Flex® stent family. At BSC, He served as the R&D Director for the Microvasive Urology Division, which included gynecology and GI. While at Tyco, he was responsible for management of strategic product and program development for ADT WellHealth®. His past career also includes several private startups in the device, diagnostic, and pharmaceutical spaces. In addition to AI Lumen, he founded and currently directs R&D for several private startup companies in the ophthalmology space.
Michael received his engineering degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and has several filed and issued US and international patents.
William Turner – VP Research & Development
Bill has over 25 years of strategic consulting and business development experience. Prior to AI Lumen Bill was President of the TW Strategy Group. As head of TWSG, Bill has worked in a variety of industries (medical device, biotechnology, telehealth, filtration, chemicals, etc.) and on a variety of strategic topics (strategic planning, go-to-market strategy, market analysis, market entry, M&A, etc.). In addition, Bill works as CEO of Ganihand, a retinal device developer.
Prior to TWSG, Bill was Manager of Strategy and Business Development for TE Connectivity's Industrial Solutions segment, VP of Sales & Marketing for Bosch’s ViTel Net subsidiary, Manager of Business Development & Operations for the health care monitoring business of ADT Security Services and a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group.
Bill has an undergraduate degree from Harvard College and is a graduate with high distinction from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
