AI Lumen’s cap is an accessory device placed on the distal end of the colonoscope with a backward facing camera. This camera is able to capture video from the backside of folds enabling the gastroenterologist to easily (without retroflexing) view the backside of colon folds. The AI Lumen system allows the colonoscopist to easily switch between forward and backward views to enable full visualization of the colon’s mucosal lining.

 

The cap is a Xmm x Ymm tube that fits around the end of the colonoscope which wirelessly transmits the video captured, in real-time, to the physician’s monitor. Our innovative approach is we are able to transmit the video wirelessly while retaining a near-HD output.
